Jeep Wrangler Recall Due to Lack of Transmission Fluid Temperature Warning System
Chrysler is recalling 161,450 2007 and 2008 Jeep Wranglers not equipped with a transmission fluid temperature warning system, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced today. Without this system, transmission fluid could boil over without the driver knowing, and possibly come into contact with a hot engine or exhaust component and potentially start a fire.
